NASCAR drivers [10 Mar 2007|01:04am] I had a dream the other night (like last week or something) about how NASCAR drivers make perfect husbands. For one, some of them are hot.. the young ones are anyway. Cases in point: Dale Jr. and Kasey Kahne. Ohh yeah.. They wouldn't have to practice all the time like normal athletes do. Plus, they still make loads of money AND they aren't as famous as regular athletes [[so you would still lead a semi-normal life.]] My dream guy is a NASCAR driver? Wtf? And no, I'm not turning into a redneck... I recently joined a NASCAR league with some of Josh's friends and I've been getting into it. haha. Work was nuts today. Being on technology team today = not cool. Internet went down in the office so we had to go into disaster recovery mode. I actually ended up being the only person with Internet access today which was always fun. Watching everyone get bored out of their minds without Internet is awesome!! We are so dependent on the Internet these days... sigh.. [they got caught in the game]

We didn't like her very much, lol. but whatever, I have another interview scheduled tomorrow. it is crazy that i'm part of the process to interview people, i am 20 yrs old interviewing people at my job!! it's nuts. i am so excited about saturday. i believe there's a MD mens bball game, womens bball game and of course, the RAVENS playoff game against the colts. it's been way too long man, i miss watching our defense. hopefully, we'll be at the top of our game on saturday. you got me twisted... [19 Nov 2006|06:44am] i love you too,lauren. you should always remember that only WE can scam chuck e cheese out of some crappy prize. did i ever tell you that i later told my sister about our genius and she told me that she thought chuck e cheese scammed us, lmao... anyway, earlier today... josh reminded me that notre dame games come on every week cuz of the deal they have with nbc or some network where all their games are on natl tv. i got kinda sad that i didn't really take advantage of brady quinn every week this season.. what's wrong w/ me? oh and if you don't know who brady quinn is.. google image his sexy ass ! i am pretty excited about thanksgiving vacation since: i get to see my family including my nepheww and my favorite dogs in the world. YAY... oh and it's gonna my first real thanksgiving ever. long story but my family never really did thanksgiving cuz they don't really know the tradition.. (i guess it's an immigrant parent thing) not to mention i will be shopping like mad (hopefully not on black fri)... but maybe on weds or something... josh is going to the ravens game today and i am so jealous but happy for him at the same time... aren't i sweet? she left us today [09 Sep 2006|12:06am] so one of my co-workers left us today. it was very sad up until the minute she left. i realized we hadn't done anything special for her on her last day and then i realized why. she hung us out to dry. she gave us a week and a half notice (not even so considering labor day)... and then she left. who leaves a job and burns bridges like that? she does. my boss (the most amazing person ever, trust me) gave her the benefit of a doubt and believed every part of her story. her story: she needed to move to denver where no job or house awaited for adventurous reasons. keep in mind, this woman has a husband and a 2 yr old son. not quite sure why you want to take such a huge risk risk with no job awaiting... but we're about 98% positive she got another job. so my boss changed his mind about believing her today and now he can't believe she did that. i can't either, man.. it's wild. in other news, i FINALLY hung out w/ sarah and carla and it was fabulous... <3 [they're working 2 hours / they got caught in the game]

[24 Aug 2006|12:42am] [ music | Kaiser Chiefs ] so i got my CCNA on Saturday... yes that's right.. my CCNA. yeah i couldn't believe it either.. it's been wild ... man so many changes this summer got the switch to 4x10s @ work starting this school year. amazing!! [16 Aug 2006|12:43am] i bought the most amazing Doors shirt this past weekend. It is soo ME. josh can attest to how awesome it is. the sad part is.. they ran out of my size and i had to get a size bigger but bc i love it so much, it doesn't really matter. i am obsessed with it. :) i'm also very happy to report that kate hudson, my girl celebrity crush is splitting with husband chris robinson. i'm not too sad about it because he didn't seem like the greatest husband... but i'm soo rootin for her and matthew mcconaughey to hook up! they just have to. S and I had a heart to heart today. OK it wasn't really a heart to heart. It was a one on one conversation about nothing for like 5 mins. so i'm goin on my massive diet again [06 Aug 2006|01:18am] i had the bessttt time tonight. i came home to columbia on friday to hang out with friends for the weekend. so today was arundel mills and target SHOPPING. then Chicken out with my ALL time favorite girls in the world. it was great. first off, i love target. even though i used to work there and i hated it, shopping there is a completely different experience. i went with sarah and julie and we all bought a ton of crap. i know it's weird that i mention it but i loved it because it's usually me going into target with a friend.. and me leaving with a ton of stuff while the friend bought nothing. thenn molly and elonna met up with us for Chicken out. i had a salad (YAY!) some topics that came up: * molly has a boyfriend!!!!! HOLLER * molly kind of lost a best friend bc of boyfriend:( * elonna's has a phone that makes text msging easy * there is actually a lady that goes into target that smells up the entire store bc she smells like poop and pee. gross. * elonna's comin' to CP baby!!!!!!!! (finally) * sarah turned down the manager position at dollar tree bc it requires too much lifting. ha so yeah, i'm going back tomorrow.. kinda sad about it but my sister is coming and she's bringing alex!! hooray!! pretty awesome [18 Jul 2006|09:14pm] Oh, how I love my job. It is the most incredible job I could ever ask for. I don't know if I ever want to leave this place. I'm a loyal person so the thought of leaving this job makes me sad... But I'm glad because it's not just an internship, and I really enjoy what I do. However, this week has sucked the most... My two collegues (The A team, as I like to call them, because both their names begin with A) are going through some training in Denver which leaves me alone with the web developers. I get all of the A team's work for the week and it's been crazy but awesome for so many reasons. For one - I love love love my boss! I never imagined I'd end up with such an awesome boss but I did, and everyone feels the same way as me. Everyone likes working under him, you can't blame them. He gets things done, defends his team when necessary and is just the nicest guy ever. Two, the web developers are hilarious. They're both like 37 and unmarried. I talked to one of them today and we talked about how he's dating a 26 year old waitress and they've been on and off for 2 months, lol. I LOVE IT! [they got caught in the game]
